FABO Cafe in the Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte is not your typical coffee shop. With its quirky, comfy patchwork chairs and laid back atmosphere, it’s kind of like Friends “Central Perk” married a hip art gallery. The works of local artists, including paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics and hand-knit scarves surround you as you sip your morning (or evening) beverage.
As an enthusiastic fan of local coffeehouses, and an even bigger fan of coffee in general, I was excited when FABO opened in 2010. I love perusing the ever-changing artworks on display, all of which is affordably priced (paintings start at $40.)
Working from a small home office every day, FABO has become my de-facto conference room and employee break area. I have done some serious brainstorming and business planning while caffeinated at FABO!
