Last night I attended the launch of the new Elle & Bae pop-up shop, held at the Charlotte Trolley Museum. The shop offers an eclectic mix of vintage, up-cycled and refurbished home furnishings and accessories. Co-founded by friends Kim and Ariene, who each have online stores, this boutique market pulls in the talent and style sensibilities of local vendors, artisans, and purveyors of fine home furnishings. The pop-up shop is planned to occur quarterly in different locations around Charlotte, and continues through 6 PM today. Here are some of the lovelies I found:

Very on-trend: a red and white chevron print and coat of white paint brightens up this mid-century chair. I love the brass feet on this piece.

And here I am, posing next to the antique trolley. It’s a really cute museum – worth a visit even when it’s not playing host to a pop-up shop!
