Highlights from The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands

I attended the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands at the Asheville Civic Center this past Friday. Not only did I see and experience beautiful works of fine art and craft, but I was also able to meet many of the artists in person. My photos can’t possibly do the works justice, but here are some of the highlights:

The works I have pictured here only represent a fraction of those shown at the craft fair. My focus was on furniture and home furnishings, but there was also fine art, sculpture, jewelry, and leather crafts on display. A huge thanks to all of the amazing and talented artists who took the time to speak with me, and who allowed me to photograph their work.

In case you missed the Southern Highlands Craft Fair this time around, it will be back at the Asheville Civic Center October 20-23, 2011.
